General Description

This restored neoclassic mansion lies in the centre of Thassos. Hotel Acropolis offers a stone-paved yard and a lobby with antique furniture. Guests can take breakfast in the garden.

All rooms are air conditioned and heated, and have a private balcony. Each has a TV and fridge. The hotel offers daily maid service.

Surroundings

The island of Thassos is located in northern Greece, across the coast of eastern Macedonia. The coastline reaches 115 km and the surface spreads 378.84 sq. km. A kilometers distance 18 nautical miles separates it from Kavala and just 6 miles from Keramoti and the Airport of Kavala. Administratively, it belongs to Thassos and Kavala Prefecture is one of the provinces. The capital is the port.

The island is lush and the timber is one of the main income of Thasos, and marble mining, tourism, oil, olives, honey, etc. Olives, pine trees, fir, linden, cedar, dogwood and other domestic and wild trees cover the small valleys to the peaks of mountains. It has about 14,000 residents.
