Niriides Hotel, at the entrance to Suda Bay, about 2 km after Κalyves and 22 km from Chania, offers accommodation 150 metres from 2 sandy beaches.

The hotel consists of 12 apartments situated in a beautiful garden with an outdoor pool. Each has a private bathroom, satellite TV, safe, telephone and fax facility, wireless internet and a fully equipped kitchen.
Besides its 2 sandy beaches, fully organised with umbrellas, loungers and a lifeguard, Almyrida is also known for its taverns’ fresh fish and local delicacies as well as its quality nightlife.
The natural surroundings and neighbouring villages offer endless hours of trekking and exploring while there is always a traditional celebration or festival with local food, music and dancing taking place.

Taxis, a bus stop and car, motorbike and/or bicycle rental facilities are very near. Upon request, Niriides Hotel arranges pick up and drop off services to the airport.

Almyrida was first inhabited by the Phoenicians, many centuries ago, and traces of their settlements can be seen on the hillside of Mavroharakas. Until recently it was just a fishermen village of 50-100 residents. Due to its wonderful Mediterranean climate, its two clear, sandy beaches and its beautiful nature, the village has recently evolved into a tourist resort. Almyrida is now famous for its taverns’ fresh fish and local delicacies as well as its quality nightlife. The natural surroundings and neighbouring villages offer endless hours of trekking and exploring while there is always one or the other traditional celebration or festival with its local food, music and dances taking place.

The most important archaeological sight of Almyrida is what remains of a three-aisled Basilica of the early Christian era (6th century AD), with its restored, extraordinary mosaic floors. On Finikias hill, right above the Basilica site, one can see the ruins of a greek-roman city. Greek-roman ruins are also found on the islet of Karga, just off Almyrida.

The hotel’s location is very quiet and at the same time very near to a Super Market (20m), bakery and the taverns and café-bars of Almyrida. Taxis, a bus stop and car, motorbike and/or bicycle rental facilities are also very near. Upon demand we can book for you a vehicle which you have the option of picking up at the airport. We also provide information on daily excursions.

Cancellation: if cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, the prepayment
will be refunded.
If cancelled up to 7 day before date of arrival, 50% of the prepayment will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100% of the total price of the reservation will be charged. In case of early departure will be charged the room nights plus a extra night.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
